Hector Ramos

J.D., Harvard Law School
Hector earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School and graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Fullerton, with a triple-major B.A. in Philosophy, Political Science, and Psychology. He passed the New York State Bar Examination and recently completed his M.B.A. at the USC Marshall School of Business.
Throughout his education, Hector has been recognized for excellence, receiving, among other awards, the Horatio Alger Association National Scholarship, the UCLA Law Fellow Award, and the Cal State University Trustees' Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Before joining Advantage Testing, Hector served as chief counsel for the Office of the Vice Mayor of Cambridge, provided legal advocacy at the Criminal Justice Institute of Harvard Law School, and worked for a Boston-based venture capital firm. Hector has served an integral role in the legal community, co-chairing the Harvard Latino Law, Policy, and Business Conference and speaking at many forums.
While in college, Hector taught public school students diagnosed with learning and emotional disabilities, coached and tutored for the Boys & Girls Club of America, and completed his psychology internship at a center for seniors with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and dementia.
But most important to Hector is his dedication to providing educational opportunities to ambitious and enthusiastic students of all backgrounds. As associate director of TRIALS, Hector teaches future lawyers at Harvard Law and NYU Law each summer. At Princeton, he teaches aspiring college students for LEDA. In New York, Hector helps hopeful Harlem Village Academy and Prep for Prep students achieve their maximum potential.
